Each character will have a unique combination of first and last name, starting zone, bio page, and picture. Each character will be allotted a initial predetermined number of points to spend on attributes and skills. Attributes and skills may be gained, improved, reduced, or lost during game play.
Attributes are inherent, measurable qualities that every character possesses to some degree. Attributes representing physical prowess are: strength, agility, dexterity, constitution. Psychological attributes are: perception, wisdom, intellect, education.
Skills are acquired applications of specific attributes. Usefulness of skills are directly proportional to the extent the character possesses the required attributes. For example, a character with low strength (an attribute) will not be as effective in melee combat (a skill) as another with a high strength.
